Abstract

Balance is once all the pushes that act upon an object happen to be balanced but not necessarily equal. The experiment consists of four activities. The Equilibrant Forces, 1st Condition of Sense of balance, Locating the Centre of The law of gravity and Second Condition of the Equilibrium are topics of every activity.

I. Introduction

According to Borelli, the human body is a system of levers. These human levers are responsible for any our body movements like eating, speaking, walking and a like. Equilibrant pressure is a power capable of balancing another force and producing equilibrium. As stated earlier, Equilibrium is definitely when all of the forces that act upon an object are well balanced but not necessarily similar. It is also the situation where there is not a change in express of movement of a human body.

There are two conditions of Equilibrium. The first condition states the fact that vector sum of all forces acting on a particle is definitely zero as the second condition states which the sum of most torques can be zero.

The objectives of the experiments are as follows:

1 . To look for the equilibrant pressure using the force table and component approach 2 . To look for the unknown pushes using the first condition and second condition for equilibrium 3. To locate the center of gravity of any composite body

4. To show rotational sense of balance

II. Theory

Torque – also known as the " Turning Force”, is known as a vector that measures it tends of a pressure to turn an object about some axis

When every one of the forces that act upon an object are well-balanced, then the subject is said to be in a state of equilibrium.

The x-component and the y-component of force happen to be said to be comparable to zero if the object is at a state of equilibrium.

III. Strategy

The Equilibrant Force Activity

The group weighed three pans of the force table inside the electronic gram balance and labeled each pans which has a, B and C correspondingly. Pan A was placed on the 30В°mark of the power table having a weight of 100grams. Pan B was placed on the 200В° indicate of the pressure table which has a weight of 150 grams. The goal is to harmony the power table by placing Baking pan C into a proper perspective.

The 1st Condition pertaining to Equilibrium Activity

Making use of the force panel, the group balanced a cylinder of unknown pounds by means of two strings.
